August 5th, 2009who thinks that alongside the pony week, days and camps there should b a out 2 the beach day where M.E.C take 10 ponies and 10 horses (who we would pick) and take turns riding them, travel 2 the beach. M.E.C could obviously not take all the people who wanted 2 go so we would travel seperately then we could ride on the beach for a day!!??

June 14th, 2009Hi,
My name is Angela and I manage this forum for MEC. We are now being inundated by spam and I have to check every comment before I can approve it or the site would be full of inappropriate comments! As we are now getting over 100 comments a day it can take time to track through them all and find the genuine comments from the spammers comments. To make this easier I would like you to register to have access to this forum. Once approved you will be able to leave comments. I will still approve the comments for now but hope to get instant approval for your comments if this works, so then you will not have to wait to see your comment.
Thank you
Angela

I had a superb pony riding party at Markfield on Sunday. Seven of friends came - all boys - some had ridden before, some never been near ponies before.
We started with grooming our ponies, then had a short lesson followed by gymkhana games. I was captain of one team - and we won! Great! I really enjoyed the game where we trotted the ponies down and then had to pick sweets out from a plate of icing sugar. I got covered!
We then took the ponies out for a walk in the sun. We finished with a party tea in the cafe area.
All my friends loved it.
Thanks to all the helpers and especially Paul who was great fun. The ponies were good as well - no one fell off!
Many thanks again
