Even though we have only been for two days, i feel i have learned so much already. We have learned how to tack and untack, plait the ponies and horses manes and their tails. we have done alot of stuff in two ays, and i am really enjoying it. the staff are so helpful and friendly.
i had a super week and i lved lacy cause she is stubbern and i loved to jump. Markfield is my faverit ridding school and i will be coming next year aswell. I think i would prefer to have a different hore next time.
Paul is the best instructor in the world and Simone is doing a great job with stable management well done ! The horses and ponies there are the nicest animals i have ever seen and it was very hard to say goodbye to Toby because he was the sweetest horse by far with me and my partner to work with him for 4 days,i miss him so much i cried on the way back on the bus and when i got home so i just wish i could see him again real soon.
Thank you Paul and simone for one of the greatest experience of my life and i am looking forward to seeing you next year and when you pop in to school.

I have had a great time at markfield i really enjoyed it.
Both Paul and simmone have been really helpful to all of us that went to the trip from redmoor. I had Princess and she was really good to ride but she was really restless when we didn’t ride her (and she did try to bite us a couple of times) but overall she was a really good pony.
Thank you Paul and Simmone.
Thankyou very very much for the best time i’ve had at riding, it was so funny, the best part was today when we did the jim carner games and we all got covered in icing sugar, ha ha i had Jazz as my horse =) and i also did the hooves by my self, how cool he iz awsum and a great jumper too. Also i had a jump without a leader and was just 1 of the 3 who junped by them self oh and the other 2 riders who jumped by them self were proper riders and do lessons, so i was great oviously everyone else was too oh and also in the jim carner games i got to lead a few horses, something else i did. there were too many things to remember doing :S but anyway alround it is the best thing i’ve done all year and will do all year P.S. I will realy realy miss everyone and all the horses, because i’m never going to see anyone there ever again so bye paul, bye simone and bye everyone that helped I’ll mmiss you all bye and i realy realy will miss you (end on a high hey ) bye
i also would like to say, thank you so much to Simmone and Paul for being such fantastic teachers in both horse riding and stable management
I would also like to say, that since being at MEC for just a week, i have decided i would like to start lessons there instead of my other stables. Just waiting for my dads feedback. Hope he lets me. As i had a fantastic time
i had a great week at Markfield it was really fun! i do quite a lot of riding out of school so i thought this would be a great chance to improve my riding. Paul and simmone were very friendly and helped a lot with riding and grooming and we also got to try different things like braiding and making haynets. i loved my horse Carrie she is so kind and gentle in her stable and we kept her squeaky clean. To ride she was fab she was smooth and is a really fab confidence giver i was told she was slow but she flew! we jumped really high which i thoroughly enjoyed. on the finally day we had a Gymkarna which was amazing all the horse were hyper just like us! we cantered up and down and buried our faces in piles of icing sugar! at the end we had a quiz on stable managment which showed us how much stuff we had learnt and then finally we all got rosettes and medals Awesome!
thanks to everyone at Markfield for a super fun filled week!
First off… is the machine fixed ? i broke the machine and to be absolutly honest i acctually dont no HOW it happened ! i had princess for the week.
she was very well behaved at times but she could be naughty, restless and CHEEKY. She bit me about 3 times and it dont half hurt ! She was very good in the stable when me and alisha were grooming her, tacking her up. I really enjoyed the stable managment side of it all, mucking out, plaiting, grooming. thanks to simone because she helped me through out the week with anything i needed help with. Paul, well i can say your the most funniest and kindest riding instructor i’ve ever met. You chose me to tease and joke about with, but i proved you wrong ! and that your not worthy of me ( when i jumped ) I had a great laugh riding because you taught me so i would remember it ! the games on the last day were funny as ! i loved them all espescailly the last game, with the icing sugar. and charlie thanks alot for tipping it all over me when i were eating it all. ( its quite yummy if you’ve never tried it) Thank You to everyone who put there time and effort into it all and making it such a good week. it was such a great experience and if i had the chance i would do it all over again and would love every single minuete of it all. why couldnt we have 2 weeks and then on the last friday we go drayton manor ? i would have loved tha to happen ! thank you once again. Paul. Mrs Morris, Simone and anyone else that helped well done for making it funny, experienceing and memorable. is that machine fixed ?
I have had an AMAZING week !! Paul is the best instructor ever because he is always pushing us to do our best, he is always there if we need him and he has made me laugh a lot this week! Simone is also fantastic because she has taught me sooooo much like how to tack, untack, groom, plait and muck out (which was more fun than what i thought it would be)!
The horses and ponies are sooooo well behaved and soooo adorable. Me and my partner, Will, had Toby and even though he was slow at times, we got on really well and i grew really attached to him so i found it was really hard to say bye. I was nearly in tears at the end!!
I felt i have learned lots this week beacause in only 4 days we have walked, done the rising trot, cantering, jumping and done Gymkarna game which was loads of fun and a great way to end the week . (By the way i loved my icing sugar beard i got in the last game ;D )
I really want to come back soon!! Many thanks to Paul and Simone for making it such an amazing week!!!!!!!!!! x
I loved my time at Markfield Equatian cetre i just wish we could have had longer!!! Paul was really nice and helpful and so was simmone !
When we started riding i was a bit nervouse and didnt really know what to expect but once i got going i was fine and as the week carried on you get less and less nervouse !!! In only the week we had at Markfield we learnt so much on the hore riding side of things we learnt how to Walk , Hault , rising trot , canter (a bit) and jump!!!
On the stable manegment side we learnt how to tack and untack , groom , muck out , plait the horses mains and tails (and more i just cant remember the rest!
This week was so enjoyable my horse was Splash and i loved him he was really nice and he loved the jumping !
Thank you Paul and Simmone !
Bye !
I thought Markfeild was a great riding school and I would like to know why can’t we do it for 2 weeks insted of 1? I thought that Simmone and Paul were all very helpful so I would like to say Thank you !!!
When I first started I was a bit scared that I would fall off but I didn’t. Once I got the hang of it I was fine. The funnyest thing that happend was when Splash started to Canter and half way round he let out the biggest Trup i ever heard I was laughing my socks off !
Thank you for a great and fun time.
And thank you Paul and Simmone !
Bye !!!
i really enjoyed my 4 days at markfield but unfortunbately it wasn’t enough. all the horses were great especially my horse splash who looked after me well. paul and simone were a great help with my riding aNG STABLE MAnagement it was great
i had a fab time at markfield, meeting my horse grooming it and riding. i’ve sat on a horse before but not really rode one so i was a bit nervous but once i got going it was really fun i got the rising trot ok but the cantering was a bit bumpy! The games at the end of the week were fun especially the icing sugar one because you got a piece of chocolate but got in a bit of a mess!
mine and annabelle’s horse was called Barnaby. He was a bit of a greedy guts and smelt ALOT! Once he sneezed all over me and i had a green sleave! warning…he likes wellies and once tried to eat mine and annabelles.I enjoyed jumping, trotting, cantering and the whole week really and thank you to paul and simone!
I really enjoyed my 4 days at markfield. i wish it could have been longer though. all the horses were really great. especially my horse splash who looked after me great. Paul and simone were great. paul helped us with our riding and showed us how to trot and canter. simone had the great job of showing us how to shovel poo! and clean out the stables. we also groomed and tacked the horses up aswell. the best day was the last when we did our quiz and games and relays. i was really sad to leave splash and didn’t want to say goodbye. thank you to simone and paul who were great and made my week at markfield a week to remember!!!!!!!!!
I’m glad i chose horseriding. I wasn’t gunna pick it because i thought it would be boring. But since going horseriding I wanna do it again!!
Its bad that im not going to be at redmoor next year because then i cant do it again :-P.
The best thing I did was jumping because i’ve never done it before and it was a good experiance. I was scared at first but watching other people do it built my confidence up. I’m glad that Paul was my leader because he tried to get us to do our very best and he prooved to us that we could do it even if we thought we couldn’t.
Me, Charlotte, Chantelle and Laura are all going to come back to the mec again because we miss our horses loads are we wanna do a group session.
I think that i’ve also socialised with people i haven’t before and i’ve sort of boosted up my teamwork by persuading to Laura that she cant canter/trot with Reggie even if she didnt feel as confident on him then Ronnie.
It was fun doing the plaiting with Charlotte. even if we didn’t win
I thought Simmone was a good stable managment instructor because she was good to talk to and she wasn’t one of those people who you couldn’t get on with
Mucking out was funny watching Char clean out all the poo
Me and Char did a bet to see who couldn’t complain the whole time we was there. We drawed but deep down i know i won. LOL
me, char, shannie and laura are definatly coming back for leasons so watch out >:]
all the horses at markfeild are SO cool(but dusty is the coolest and the cutest ) paul and simmone are really cool.when i saw dusty didn’t have a mane i was like OMG :O but as the week went on i began to thinck dusty looks better with out a mane:).double thanks to paul, simmone and of corse DUSTY:).
Hi paul, Thankyou for looking after me moaning all the time saying that i can’t do this or i don’t want to do jumping or cantering and looking after the other riders. Paul i think you are a very kind man and you help people out like me when we can’t do somethink, and i think simone is a kind lady too, she has to repeat her self twice or more than twice, and i think the horses are treated nicely and they are cared for well. Masie was great up utill friday she was a little grumpy she would stand there for ages untill it was her turn to go for the games that we had on friday, but apart from that she was great, and i have confendence around the horses now i know that they will not kick you if you are nice to them.
so i just wanted to say thankyou for building up my confendence, and i think you should get a pay rise!
charlotte hurst
ps. How is Masie doing
hi everyone i enjoyed horse riding because chocolate my ponie was awsome he was a bit grumpy but by the end of the week i was enjoying handling him alot more.
Paul the instruter was brillant because he help me with my problems, simone was great in the yard helping us all with all our horses and ponies.they both made the week fun and enjoyable .
my partner jordan did a great job leading chocolate he was a good laugh and he coped well on the way back on the bus.
even though the week was fun and i cried on the way home i wish i could go and see chocolate again!!!
Riding at Markfield was really fun and exciting. I started the day by riding and i was a bit scared for a start but i got the hang of it and i got better. After a couple of days we tacked and untacked we learned about the curry combs with Simmone and mucked out (it was a bit smelly). On the last day we played some games and said Goodbye to our horse. I thought that Paul and Simmone were really helpful and told us some important facts. The best part of riding was when i got to Canter and on the last day i Cantered during the games. The whole week was really fun and i really enjoyed it. I hope next time we could do it for longer.
Thank you for everything i had a great time at Markfield. :D :D
Bye !!!
Horse Riding at Markfeild was amazing !
I rode Carrie for most of the week and she was very keen on cantering, and was a star at jumping !
We learnt how to work on our riding skills bt trotting and cantering on our own! On thursday we played Gymkana games and had to weave in and out of poles and trotting and cantering back. But my favourite game was where we had to walk up to the first post then dismount , then run to a plate full of icing sugar with chocolate chunks buried underneath. You had to put your hands behind your back and put your face in it, then run back and get your horse! (whilst you still had a face of icing sugar) :):)
Simone was in charge of mucking out and taught us about the different combs and hoof picks. I learnt how to bed a stable and muck out the dirty straw. Paul taught us how to jump and canter and trot and lots of other things !!!!!
Overall it was an AMAZING week and i enjoyed every minute of it .
Thankyouu so much for your help and for making it such a fantastic week !! :D :D
Bye bye bye !!
I already go to Markfield for lessons, i started after last years actvitiy week and have loved it ever since, i thought that this year i might find it a bit boring, but it wasn’t! I got my favourite horse Sooty and got to spend time grooming him with my cool new partner Keeley Who also grew to love SOOOOOOTTTYYYYYY It was great, i really enjoyed riding him because some of us got to go in a higher lesson so we got to do more difficult things and even the people who’d been before or ride anyway learnt something or improved! I don’t think there was one person who didn’t love this week, especially the horses who loved all the extra attention :D! We got to do a good range of things from learning to ride to people cantering over jumps on their own! And for the stable management we got to do plaiting, grooming, mucking out, tacking up, learning about the horses and loads of fun stuff! I managed to move on to jumping Barney which shows how much you can improve in a few days, from sooty to barney There wasn’t anybody who didn’t get alone and the gymkana games were really fun, even if MISS MORRIS CHEATED!!!! CHEATERRRRRR!!! she had BARNEY, how are you meant to compete with BARNEY, he’s like a rocket man a huge bubbles!! (: It was a really great week, and i’m really happy that my partner won the trophy! Woo go Keeley on a naughty hyper fat sooty Everyone made new friends even if it was just 4 legged ones! Wooo, go Sooty, Barney, Jazz and Bubbles! <3 ps. Plz can i try riding rolo for flat or asterix for jumping because i galloped a 17.3hh on holiday :D:D x
Thankyoouuu! … ive now got four fave horses and i think i have actually remembered everything i have learnt alot even since last year. i actually helped with the grooming this year and i i remember all the brushes. i now know how to put the tack on .. the plaiting was good but it was dificult cuz u had to plait them and me and hannah thought we would never win the competition but did .. Well done hannah .. Also i now know that if paul says gallop to princess she wownt. Me jess shannie and char are going to come back defo as we really enjoyed this week. i am really proud that i got a 9 in the jumping. haha the icing sugar game was .. THE BEST haha especialy at the end when chaz chucked it all over jordan i really enjoyed the games even though it was at a unfair advantage we didnt lose badly i have recomended h.r to 3 other mates i cant wait until me n the other come back for another lesson. we WILL be back soon.
OMG the mucking out was really easy but alot of effort going back and fourth with the wheelbarrow and hannah making sure i have a big pile ready to fill up I had good fun there and thanmks to Simone and Paul For having us there! Thankyooooh!!!!! :D:):D
Spending a week at MEC was apsolutly fantastic and i wish we could stay for longer. All the staff were really nice and very kind to all of us!
All of the horses were beatiful and it wouldn’t have been as good if we didn’t have Barnaby to ride!! He was great even though he was very rude because he did his buisness everywhere and he sneezed all over courtney (Eww). He smelt alot and once he tried to eat my wellington. He also likes to run so when we did the games it took a while to get him started and once he went he REALLY went!!!!!
One time I can’t forget was trying to canter and i kept slipping forward and i nearly fell of, it was very scary and jumping was scary to but i had lots of support from Paul and my friends so it went quite well!!
The games were really fun and i would love to go again!!!!!!!
Thankyou so much to Paul and Simone for making it so we have a brilliant time I would love to come again and I will never forget MEC and i will definitely come again!! THANKYOU!!!
oh my days i love this place . . . mostly the horses ,, we learnt alot like to plait even though ronnie (( cutest horse there )) kept moving but it was really fun though he did tend to headbut me . i actually think i really loved it cause was really good at riding and i went in year 7 and it wasn’t as good then cause they taught us better and more intresting stuff like plating and like the jim carner games was like more funny with the icing sugar and jordan breaking the machine shes a vandal. i still can’t belive we won the plaiting competition . the stable management was funny watching laura come back and forth with the wheel barrow while we make a massive pile for when she got back she LOVED it really .. i was quiet laughing when laura was tacking him up and he kept moving while she was and breathing out the cheeky horse .. i think i really found something that i can enjoy and stick to throughout everything cause i ended up upset but i lay my head on ronnie and he made me happy and laugh but the grroming was like really funny he looked soo soft after ((gorgous horse i love him and spice )) thank youu loads you taught me alot
Markfield has been one of the most enjoyable places for me by far horse riding was amazing and my horse Toby was well behaved, sometimes cheeky and stood on my foot twice and almost all the the time you smelled worse than my sister lol.
My partner was amazing if it wasnt for her then i probably would of struggled with Toby since he is a strong, tall and was really naughty when it came to be at the front of the line so thank you so much for being there for me.All of the staff espiecally paul and simone you two were very nice to us and made sure we were looked after and safe thank you !!!!!
well I have to say I have had an amazing time at markfield i have had my ups and downs with sooty but i have got cool partner charlotte (she is very good). i have had a very fun time especially cleaning the stables ( although i am sure the ponys have diahorrea) and i am very happy about me winning the trophy for the most experianced rider i could not go to sleep that night. but i grew to love sooty and i am missing him already but i will all way think of him and not forgetting paul i will missyou to thankyou for every thing will miss everyone.
well i have had a great time at markfeild and i have had a good time grooming, mucking out, tack and untack her. I had a really good partner leah she helped me if I was stuck.:):D The lessons were great and I really enyojed the jumping and the games on Thursday aswell. The favourite game was the last one with the chocolate. I only had Carrie for 2 days (i think) I had Masie for the rest of the week. Carrie was amazing at everything she did for me:). Masie was great aswell she was great at the games. Simone was excellent she helped you if you were stuck at something with the horses. Paul was a good riding teacher.

Heeelloooo!
I went in 2008, and I’m coming back!
In 2008, I went with Holly and we had Reggie. I loved Reggie to bits, he was a real treat to take care of and ride.
This year I’m partnered up with Charlotte and we’re riding Dusty. I hope he’s just as good as Reggie.
I can’t wait to see all the horses again.
Now, as it’s been two years since I last used a horse, I can still pretty much remember how to ride one.
I’ll see you all on monday.
I’m really missing Dusty! I cannot stop crying and I don’t want to go to Drayton Manor tomorrow. I’d much rather see Dusty. He’s lovely.
If I’m honest. He may be slow. But I love him so much more than Reggie. I don’t know how long i’ll cope being away from him.
I might ask my mum If I can go back to MEC some time and have a lesson.. If thats enough. I think I might have to keep turning up. I doubt that will happen though. I live a longer distance that what the school does. :/ So i’d have an extra 10-15 minutes on the journey there. So maybe just one lesson or something.
Anyway, thanks to Paul and Simone for all the help you’ve given me, and everyone else. You’ve been great to us all. Give Dusty a big hug for me and tell him I love him very much and that he’ll always be on my mind.
Goodness, I feel as if i’ve just lost a family member. I have the on and off cries. I had to watch Sherlock Holmes to cheer me up. It worked. Untill the film finished. Then I started again.
Anyway (again), I’ll have to keep coming on here.
Bye Bye. xx
I’m going to miss ALL of the horses at Markfeild especially Ronnie he was the one that i could totally trust with my life no matter what well i really coud trust everyone at markfeild they are so caring and yet funny and serious at the same time. the week at markfeild was so packed full of things you never had time to get bored, you couldnt really get bored there with paul and simone around they’re just so fun and out going!!! i’ve got to say my favourite lesson was wednesday because we jumped and seeing as i hav’nt jump since iwas 8 because i fell of while cross country jumping and never had the guts to try again until now being there just gave me a boost again in my self confidence. i would like to go back to markfeild next year with new skill to learn to add onto the ones that i have learned this week yesterday no one wanted to leave and i dont blame them it’s great there!!!
thanks sooooo much
love u RONNIE <3 xxxx thanks paul and simone!!!!! i had a gr8 week!!!
Wow, theres alot of comments from people that went horse riding this year. Im probably just saying the same as everybody else really but i do miss the place. Especially reggie : ) I had him in year 7 and year 9 and i was really pleased i had him again. As much as i miss him i miss all of the other horses and the people that work at MEC. You have really helped me learn alot and now i have a passion for horses. I would never have thought that 8 days could make you love horses so much. Paul was funny when he went on Ronnie because he nearly fell off him xD I would just like to thank you guys for teaching me these things and i’m sure i will remember them ( : I shall be thinking of Reggie every day as i printed off some photos i took and hung up my rosettes and medals. Its sad watching some of the many videos i took but one in particular makes me laugh. It’s me and Lilly feeding Reggie an apple and his mouth goes funny and he starts neighing. So thank you for all that you have taught me and give Reggie my love <3 Holly ( :

I have had a great time at markfield i really enjoyed it.
Both Paul and simmone have been really helpful to all of us that went to the trip from redmoor. I had Princess and she was really good to ride but she was really restless when we didn’t ride her (and she did try to bite us a couple of times) but overall she was a really good pony.
Thank you Paul and Simmone.

i had a great week at Markfield it was really fun! i do quite a lot of riding out of school so i thought this would be a great chance to improve my riding.

Simone is also fantastic because she has taught me sooooo much like how to tack, untack, groom, plait and muck out (which was more fun than what i thought it would be)!
. (By the way i loved my icing sugar beard i got in the last game ;D )
The horses and ponies are sooooo well behaved and soooo adorable. Me and my partner, Will, had Toby and even though he was slow at times, we got on really well and i grew really attached to him so i found it was really hard to say bye. I was nearly in tears at the end!!
I felt i have learned lots this week beacause in only 4 days we have walked, done the rising trot, cantering, jumping and done Gymkarna game which was loads of fun and a great way to end the week
I really want to come back soon!! Many thanks to Paul and Simone for making it such an amazing week!!!!!!!!!! x

On the stable manegment side we learnt how to tack and untack , groom , muck out , plait the horses mains and tails (and more i just cant remember the rest!
This week was so enjoyable my horse was Splash and i loved him he was really nice and he loved the jumping !

Bye !!!

June 2nd, 2009 at 10:38 am
i had a fab time at markfield, meeting my horse grooming it and riding. i’ve sat on a horse before but not really rode one so i was a bit nervous but once i got going it was really fun i got the rising trot ok but the cantering was a bit bumpy!
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:38 am
I really enjoyed my 4 days at markfield. i wish it could have been longer though. all the horses were really great. especially my horse splash who looked after me great. Paul and simone were great. paul helped us with our riding and showed us how to trot and canter. simone had the great job of showing us how to shovel poo! and clean out the stables. we also groomed and tacked the horses up aswell. the best day was the last when we did our quiz and games and relays. i was really sad to leave splash and didn’t want to say goodbye. thank you to simone and paul who were great and made my week at markfield a week to remember!!!!!!!!!
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:39 am
I’m glad i chose horseriding. I wasn’t gunna pick it because i thought it would be boring. But since going horseriding I wanna do it again!!

watching Char clean out all the poo
I thought Simmone was a good stable managment instructor because she was good to talk to and she wasn’t one of those people who you couldn’t get on with
Mucking out was funny
Me and Char did a bet to see who couldn’t complain the whole time we was there. We drawed but deep down i know i won. LOL
me, char, shannie and laura are definatly coming back for leasons so watch out >:]
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:40 am

June 2nd, 2009 at 10:40 am

June 2nd, 2009 at 10:40 am
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:43 am

thx paul and simone for a brillant week!!!
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:44 am
:D
:D
Bye !!!
I would love to see Spice again and
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:44 am
Horse Riding at Markfeild was amazing !
:D
:D
Bye bye bye !!
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:44 am
I already go to Markfield for lessons, i started after last years actvitiy week and have loved it ever since, i thought that this year i might find it a bit boring, but it wasn’t! I got my favourite horse Sooty and got to spend time grooming him with my cool new partner Keeley
Who also grew to love SOOOOOOTTTYYYYYY
It was great, i really enjoyed riding him because some of us got to go in a higher lesson so we got to do more difficult things and even the people who’d been before or ride anyway learnt something or improved! I managed to move on to jumping Barney which shows how much you can improve in a few days, from sooty to barney
There wasn’t anybody who didn’t get alone and the gymkana games were really fun, even if MISS MORRIS CHEATED!!!! CHEATERRRRRR!!!
she had BARNEY, how are you meant to compete with BARNEY, he’s like a rocket man a huge bubbles!! (: It was a really great week, and i’m really happy that my partner won the trophy! Woo go Keeley on a naughty hyper fat sooty
Everyone made new friends even if it was just 4 legged ones! Wooo, go Sooty, Barney, Jazz and Bubbles! <3 ps. Plz can i try riding rolo for flat or asterix for jumping because i galloped a 17.3hh on holiday :D:D x
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:44 am
Thankyoouuu! … ive now got four fave horses and i think i have actually remembered everything i have learnt alot even since last year. i actually helped with the grooming this year and i i remember all the brushes. i now know how to put the tack on .. the plaiting was good but it was dificult cuz u had to plait them and me and hannah thought we would never win the competition but did
.. Well done hannah
.. Also i now know that if paul says gallop to princess she wownt. Me jess shannie and char are going to come back defo as we really enjoyed this week. i am really proud that i got a 9 in the jumping. haha the icing sugar game was .. THE BEST haha especialy at the end when chaz chucked it all over jordan
i really enjoyed the games even though it was at a unfair advantage we didnt lose badly
i have recomended h.r to 3 other mates i cant wait until me n the other come back for another lesson. we WILL be back soon.
I had good fun there and thanmks to Simone and Paul For having us there!
Thankyooooh!!!!! :D:):D
OMG the mucking out was really easy but alot of effort going back and fourth with the wheelbarrow and hannah making sure i have a big pile ready to fill up
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:45 am
P.s give Paul a pay rise 1,00000000000 pounds a year please !
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:46 am
THANKYOU!!!
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:47 am
oh my days i love this place . . . mostly the horses ,, we learnt alot like to plait even though ronnie (( cutest horse there )) kept moving but it was really fun though he did tend to headbut me . i actually think i really loved it cause was really good at riding and i went in year 7 and it wasn’t as good then cause they taught us better and more intresting stuff like plating and like the jim carner games was like more funny with the icing sugar and jordan breaking the machine
shes a vandal. i still can’t belive we won the plaiting competition . the stable management was funny watching laura come back and forth with the wheel barrow while we make a massive pile for when she got back
she LOVED it really .. i was quiet laughing when laura was tacking him up and he kept moving while she was and breathing out the cheeky horse .. i think i really found something that i can enjoy and stick to throughout everything cause i ended up upset but i lay my head on ronnie and he made me happy and laugh but the grroming was like really funny he looked soo soft after ((gorgous horse i love him and spice ))
thank youu loads you taught me alot
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:48 am
Markfield has been one of the most enjoyable places for me by far horse riding was amazing and my horse Toby was well behaved, sometimes cheeky and stood on my foot twice and almost all the the time you smelled worse than my sister lol.
My partner was amazing if it wasnt for her then i probably would of struggled with Toby since he is a strong, tall and was really naughty when it came to be at the front of the line so thank you so much for being there for me.All of the staff espiecally paul and simone you two were very nice to us and made sure we were looked after and safe thank you !!!!!
Thank both for a great week !!

Heeelloooo!
I hope he’s just as good as Reggie.
I went in 2008, and I’m coming back!
In 2008, I went with Holly and we had Reggie. I loved Reggie to bits, he was a real treat to take care of and ride.
This year I’m partnered up with Charlotte and we’re riding Dusty.
I can’t wait to see all the horses again.
Now, as it’s been two years since I last used a horse, I can still pretty much remember how to ride one.
I’ll see you all on monday.
May 26th, 2010 at 5:26 pm
2010, activys weekk..
i have toby,:D
with rebecca,xx
May 27th, 2010 at 7:42 pm
I’m really missing Dusty! I cannot stop crying and I don’t want to go to Drayton Manor tomorrow. I’d much rather see Dusty. He’s lovely.
Give Dusty a big hug for me and tell him I love him very much and that he’ll always be on my mind.
xx
If I’m honest. He may be slow. But I love him so much more than Reggie. I don’t know how long i’ll cope being away from him.
I might ask my mum If I can go back to MEC some time and have a lesson.. If thats enough. I think I might have to keep turning up. I doubt that will happen though. I live a longer distance that what the school does. :/ So i’d have an extra 10-15 minutes on the journey there. So maybe just one lesson or something.
Anyway, thanks to Paul and Simone for all the help you’ve given me, and everyone else. You’ve been great to us all.
Goodness, I feel as if i’ve just lost a family member. I have the on and off cries. I had to watch Sherlock Holmes to cheer me up. It worked. Untill the film finished. Then I started again.
Anyway (again), I’ll have to keep coming on here.
Bye Bye.
May 28th, 2010 at 3:08 pm
June 4th, 2010 at 2:03 pm
